In the high-speed, high-tension world of rolling mills and continuous processing lines, accurate knowledge of strip or material velocity is fundamental to process stability, synchronization, and product quality. For Hot & Cold Rolling Mills: The laser speed sensors provide critical feedback for Automatic Gauge Control (AGC) and interstand tension regulation. By precisely measuring the true strip exit speed, especially during acceleration and deceleration phases, these systems enable tighter thickness tolerances and improved flatness, directly contributing to yield and quality.
For Processing Lines (Annealing, Coating, Galvanizing): In continuous lines where strip tension must be perfectly maintained across multiple sections, our laser speedometers ensure exact speed synchronization between drives. This prevents slippage, scratches, or breaks, especially critical for thin-gauge or surface-sensitive products.
For Accurate Length Measurement & Shearing: Integrated laser measurement systems provide precise length data for automated cutting and shearing operations, optimizing yield and ensuring exact order fulfillment.
